    Hello, I just switched from an iPhone to a Red 8310, love it by the way!!! Thank god I'm back from the darkside! Everything is working fine except I'm trying to setup my email and it says that my pin is already assigned and now it says it's disabled? Anyone?

    Did you log on to your BIS and switch device/IMEI to your BB pin from your IPhone? Your account is probably still locked on to your IPhone.

    Yeah I tried that. That's where I put in my IMEI and PIN and it says that it is already assigned. Thanks for your help though! I'm waiting for tech support now....Boo...

    Did you buy this phone new or used? if used, I would contact the person you bought it from and make sure they completely removed it from thier account. If new, I would contact the retailer and find out why it seems to think that it is active on another account.

    I agree, I had a customer who had the same problem, all you need to do is call Customer Care and tell them to change the IMEI from the Suckphone... I mean the IPhone... to your new Curve. You can get it without removing the battery by going to Options, Status, and there you go!

    I completely agree. If it's used then you need to release the PIN.
