I just upgraded to the 4.5 os, and i was under the impression that there would be a HTML email viewer in this release? And i can't get a copy of empower that seems to work with it. Am I missing something here? Any help would be awesome !!!

You don't need empower and chances are it won't work well with it - just a guess. The HTML email is already there. FYI, BB Smart doesn't work very well with 4.5 - my experience.

Very true, I had the 4.5 beta for CDMA and had to downgrade to 4.2 because I could not get the BBSmart connection to ever work!

OPen the doc, press the menu key and select save.

Try pointing to the attachment in the msg then: edit, edit with Docs to Go, and when it opens, save as, etc.

Docs to go is for word, excel, etc files so you should be able to do it.

Did you try the previous suggestion?

YMine too and you're right. You can retrieve attachment but not save it. Researching. Hang on.

I have to admit that I don't use this much - I could swear the last time I used this it was "Docs to Go" in the BB device and you could save excel files too. I could be mistaken.

It is possible that some releases provide a prg called "Docs to Go" with one icon and in others the "Docs to Go" pgm is Word to Go and Slideshow to GO with 2 icons?

I'm a little confused - sorry I couldn't help more - at least I know when to quit. Maybe an expert will jump in here and solve this for us.

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

If you use the new version of DtG you have also Excel-To-Go.

Open Word/Slideshow-To-Go - Menu - Check for upgrade

But the big negative point is if you install/deinstall anything via the DM the older version of DtG will installed

And when you try to get help from DataViz they want you to upgrade to the Premium Version

Thanks Pete, That's the part I was missing. I've gone back and forth a few times on the OS and, although I had originally gotten the Docs update, I didn't realize that it would install the older version but that makes perfect sense...plus the fact that I don't use Docs much at all.
    Downloading the update now.
