    ECLIPSE AVN2210p and the CURVE

    Hey fellow pinstackers!

Quick question for everyone, I am looking at buying an in-dash navigation system (the ECLIPSE AVN2210p) and was wondering if I could connect the GPS unit to my curve(8320) and use the bluetooth to make hands-free calls? The GPS unit is a TomTom.

    Thanks in advance!

Yes you can do all of those things. Only thing the BB can't do is cook you dinner.

Once you get your GPS, we can help. And if your car has bluetooth built in, put your car into pairing mode and use the set up bluetooth function on the BB

my car does not have bluetooth built in, but I thought by putting this system in would make my car bluetooth enabled. I have an 08 civic base model, would installing the ECLIPSE AVN2210p make my car be able to make calls over bluetooth?

I have a Garmin Nuvi 660 with Blue tooth. Once paired you will be able to see all of your contacts from the BB on the nuvi. When searching for contacts the unit handles it like entering an address also with FM wireless activated you can hear phone through car speakers. You can directly hook 8300 to device with a ipod like cord and listen to your music as well as audio books through the unit or car speakers.

Not sure about your device but if it has BT it should do all the same.

I would highly recommend the Nuvi 660 or higher. My daughter has a tom tom and is not as user friendly. You can purchased any mounting clips for any car or device from proclips usa to complete a professional install.

    Good luck
