Question Easy way to lock your keys on an 8310 Curve?

I'm one of those guys who puts my blackberry in my front pocket... a few of my friends have noted that I unknowingly call them... guess with my thigh! Anyway, is there a good key lock function that I'm not aware of on this Blackerry Curve 8310?

I hope it isn't more than a 2 keystroke process, because my corporate BES requires me to enter a 5 character password after 20 min. (although I can still make phone calls!)

    Thanks for any help!

You can quickly put it in standby by holding the top left silver button down a few seconds.
You have to hit it again to unstandby it.

Click green call button. Choose menu/options/general. Then change *dial from homescreen* to no. Exit out. From homescreen click *K* to lock. One gentle click (don't hold down or it will ask you if you want to assign a speed dial to K)

This will disable the 'Dial from home screen' option, but it is the only way to "Lock" your phone at a single push.

Press the Phone button, Go to Options, General Options > Dial from Home Screen: OFF.

Now when at the Home screen, press K and it will lock you phone.

I programmed the convenience key to be my lock button. I've never used a Pearl, so I don't know if it has one, though.

I use Alt/Enter as I do use the dial from home screen function.

I just went into Screen / Keyboard options, then you have the option to assign a function to the Left and right side convenience keys. I assigned the Left-side key to "Lock". That way, when I press the left key it locks the phone. Works fine for me...

thank you for all your replies, just doesn't seem like any viable alternatives.... you'd think they could come up with a little more functional and easy.

Circ...You can assign one of your left or right buttons to be the lock function so that it is push of a button to lock....options>screen/keyboard>scroll down to the bottom and choose which button to assign keyboard lock function...I think other than alt enter that as easy as its gonna get...that is if you have not dedicated those buttons to a more important function.

EDIT: BB already suggested..sorry didnt see that...

Or.... move your lock icon into your top five and one click from the pearl will lock.
