Drove 20 miles with my curve on the roof of the car.

Yup, left the curve on the roof while I was grabbing stuff from the back seat. My wife got in, drove 20 miles home on I-95 and the curve was still there.

I highly recommend that folks purchase that rubber case. YAY for the rubber case.

That's awesome. Which rubber case saved the day? I use a seidio hard shell.. So far I've been lucky enough to always remember to pocket it, lol.

wow...might have to look into a rubber case.

Does or will it fit into the BB belt case after you put the rubber case on it ?

You are one lucky dude! I use the Seidio hard rubber case combo - I think I'll run my errands today with my BB on the HOOD of the car and see how that works.

You are very lucky. I think you should a put a disclaimer at the end of you post nikonianmike: "Do not attempt." LOL! I still can't believe that it was still there.

By the way, how fast were you driving? What was your fastest speed?

A couple of weeks ago, I took my wife to the airport. I and my daughter checked into a local hotel. I was unloading our stuff onto one of those cart-thingys, when I heard a familiar chime. The parking garage had no one around, but I knew that someone must have left their phone on their vehicle.I looked across the way in an empty spot and there it was...someone had placed their day-old $300 HTC on their roof and it had slid off when the pulled out.The device had a few deep scuffs, but otherwise ok. I got in touch w/ the owner, her husband met me in the hotel lobby. He was on his IPhone. He grabbed the phone and mumbled "thanks" as he was walking away.(No love for the device or the finder.) If this was a BB owner, they would have broke out in tears of joy and refused to let go hugging me.-lol

Glad you never lost your "precious".

Yup, apparently it can handle speeds up to 70mph. Thank goodness for that blackberry rubber case and the roof rack it got caught on. My wife heard it ringing at a red light but we couldn't find it till home.

    hehehehe
