    On the court yesterday.

    Doesn't look that bad actually..
But I can't stop focusing on its blemishes-- I mean I just bought this thing.

    Anyone else understand my frustration?

You seem to be handling it faaaaar better than I think I would be -

I mean, I really see myself, shut down in corner somewhere... rocking back and forth with this wide-eyed catatonic glare... just staring at the thing while drooling all over myself and repeating, "Please be okay baby, please be okay baby, please be okay baby".

I hope all is well with Curve buddy - The title of your thread alone gave me a quick shiver...

    Best

I feel your pain, man. I had my 8700c for a week, set it in my lap for something before I got out of my car, and forgot to get it when I stepped out. I watched it slide face down over 10 feet of concrete. Thankfully, the screen survived, but the case was scratched for sure!

I have been there with my 8700 and am trying to be so careful with my Curve. I still need to get a case... I have dropped it once (dog knocked it out of my hand) but thankfully it was on the carpet.

    Anyway I completely understand!

There's nothing worse than dropping your brand new phone. I'm being extra careful with mine while I wait for a case.

I know how you feel, but I feel much better knowing I dropped it, than someone else.

I know exactly how you feel. I dropped my 8830 and almost had a heart attack. It's like dropping a new born baby.

I would go crazy if that happened to me! As it is now I have never laid my curve down on any hard surface without putting a cloth or towel down first! I ordered a skin for mine and a leather case. Every nite before I sleep I look over my curve to make sure there are no marks on it!

I know it is a little late, but a skin would help a little bit, and it may cover up the scratches you already have.

Whoaaaa ..... I feel your pain! I truly do. That is my worst nightmare. I truly admire the people that can go through an experience like that and not get all upset over it.

Remember that it was an accident and be kind to yourself. It's done, you did your best, and focus on the present.

    Re: Dropped my Curve

I've had my 8700c for almost 11 months now and I just dropped it for the "real" first time today and theres a bunch of scratches in it... it didn't settle in for about an hour or two now i'm hating the pants i was wearing and the fact that i havent been able to find the clip anywhere.
