    dropped curve

I've had some bad luck with phones. My curve is no different. Within my first week I dropped it twice n it suffered really deep scratches on each side. I've had it now over two months n haven't dropped it since. I just had to get used to it. Now I have one of those gel things on it so it covers the scratches but it still sucks I know they r there, n I can't take the gel off. I like the way the curve feels without it but I can't stand looking at the scratches.

    Re: dropped curve

When I got my 8700 oh so long ago, I dropped it several times in the first couple of weeks. The reason I decided was just that I had it in my hand so much more than my Nokia 6620 that it replaced, so it was dropped more. Keep it in it's case and it'll be safe! I've learned since the 8700, that by keeping it in it's case more each day, it will last for more days, and ultimately will get more use. :-)

Thx a ton for those links. I'm gonna purchase the rubbery sidings and the faceplate with the black piece around the screen instead of the silver. Thx again ima have a brand new curve for $35.

I've never seen the black lens for AT&T. Is that perhaps for a different model coming out?

This didn't happen to my Curve, but to the 7290 I had for about 2 years. Went SCUBA diving and as I was climbing from the dock to the boat, the boat shifted and knocked my BB out of the holster, I helplessly watched it bounce off the dock and spiral down into the depths. It was still on until I couldn't see it any longer (10ft or so). Oh well, at least it got me a Curve!

    I wonder if/when we'll see 3rd party / non-OEM cases/fascias for the Curve?
