The easiest way is to have a media card installed,
    enable mass storage mode.
Then simply connect BB to PC and drag and drop your music files
    into your BB music folder.

Yeah that what I do to and I would like to know if there's anyway to make my mp3 files smaller so they don't take up alota space on my card!! I don't have alota songs on my card and getting a bigger card but using roxio with my mp3s is taking up a lot!! I got some songs off my itunes that I saved to computer and it converted it to a smaller size!! ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Same here. If you use it like you would use mass storage, all you have to do is drag your songs into the media card. I also transfer ringtones that way as well.

When you transfer music from Media Player, do you have to save it in your libarary first? Or is there a way to transfer straight from the CD?

when i am on my friends laptop i use box.net, i put music and picture as well as ringtones and just open my cortado and stream or even download the music to my card until i get home.

Not that slow but not fast either, in between.

I use iTunes too, and choose the lower graded MP3 sizing to make them smaller for my phone. Works like a charm and I hardly notice any sound difference....actually I dont notice any difference at all. Think my songs average about 4-5mb
