does opera mini freeze all the time for everyone else?

I don't know if its because of the new os I just put in because I never really use opera. But I just started tonight because I noticed its so much faster than the bb browser but within about 15 minutes it froze up on me 3 times and I had to reset my phone each time. Is it just me or is that normal? Finally I just said the hell with it and went back to using the bb browser with no problems

I hardly ever use Opera but I've started using it more when I need to view a site that doesn't have a mobile version. I have an 8330 with 4.5 OS and I have had no problems with Opera.

Do as smooth suggested and reinstall Opera and see if that resolves your issue.

Have the latest version of Mini. Worked great on 4.2 Curve. Great on Bold when transferred from Curve. Perfect when same download for 3rd time loaded back onto Curve running 4.5.81 from Bold

    I tried it, it sucked.

Tried to uninstall it, gave me a JVM 102 error.

    Never again.
    I have a BlackBerry and a WhiteApple. :)

I don't have any freezing problems, on Opera Mini 4.1 it would slow down after a while and hourglass for a bit, but I never had to reset my device. So far 4.2 beta has done very well.

Lately my opera mini 4.1 official and beta have been taking a long time connecting. It will sit at connecting for about 2 minutes and then go or prompt me to do a internet connection test.

    To Berryadict.

Am I reading right that you are using a bold OS on your 8310 ?

I've been having plenty. Of annoying problems with opera lately. It freezes, usually right in the middle of a forum post. It's latest trick is to make the menu disappear when I press the menu button...it comes up and then goes away. I have opera 4.1 installed because 4.2 sucked also. Ugh..

Ok...who can help me? I deleted Opera 4.1, reinstalled 4.2. The same menu glitch is happening in 4.2. Whenever I try to access the menu (bookmarks, enter an address, settings etc) it comes up for a half second then disappears. It only started doing this with 4.1 last night. I've changed every permission to "allow" thinking that opera was attempting to open a port or something and a dialog box was trying to appear. No such luck...same problem. Anybody have an idea?

Yep...about time us Stackers get a new web browser!

With...maybe, tabbed browsing? Is it too late to ask Firefox for this for Christmas??

This thing's acquired a bug. 4.1 would just flash menu when pressed. Wiped and installed 4.2. Same problem. Press menu and it flashes on and off real quick
