ok so i was kinda stoked on actually using my curve for a good purpose (school) and tried to dl the trial of Docs2go on mobile.blackberry.com and it told me since i dont have os 4.5 it wont work. Since there is no 4.5 for the verizon curve im stuck. I want to wait for the official rather than hack out another carriers.

i need to view and edit doc, docx, and xls files. anyone have any suggestions??????

    Get a Bold!
ahaha Wish I had a better suggestion.
PS. I don't think Docs2Go will do docx files. Correct me if I'm wrong.

You could try Eoffice. I believe there is a trial version for it.~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

ok so after some research i found some info on eoffice and it seems to work with it my OS and is a bit cheaper than doc2go i think. 29.99 lets me view and edit all office stuff and pdf's, and allows for publishing for google docs. pretty nice...just waiting to get my confirmation email to use it and then ill post about it

Had problems with my eOffice & had to uninstall it. I got an email from their tech support but haven't had time to review it yet. I also like Docs to Go (used in on my old Palm T|X) and I think I'll just wait for Verizon's 4.5 to come out...supposedly "any day now".....
