~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~what do you mean delete files...what files are you talking about? I only have to reset my device when deleting an "application", if I delete some picture/music/videos/ringtone "files" I don't have to do a battery pull or nothing like that

What it means is are you trying to delete from the Blackberry itself (Media Player) or from the Desktop Manager (Media manager)?

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~you should be able to delete straight from the media player. I've been doing it since day one

Have you tried playing the ringtone after deleting it? Maybe the name still shows, but the actual file is gone. You can make sure if you go to your Media Player, hit the menu button, and select "Explore". You can view the contents of the microSD card, much like navigating your hard drive with Windows Explorer.

I never use Roxio, it's way too slow. I use Media Monkey to sync my music on my 8300. It works like a charm. Never had any problems at all.
