    Question Delay sending txt messages

I am having a problem trying to figure out why it takes 20-30 seconds to open a text message and the same amount of time to send. It seems like it freezes for that time. I'm not sure if it does. It may be that the thread is long but I never had this problem on my windows mobile phone and the threads were much longer. Any insite? Thanks in advance.

Have you tried a battery pull? Or have the service books resent.

What OS are you running? Have you done a battery pull or resent your service books? Press and hold ALT and then type L G L G. Clear your event log, then try and send a text and see if it sends quicker.

If not, respond to the questions above or fill out your profile and we'll continue troubleshooting your problem.

I do battery pulls everyday and that doesnt help. I just resent my service books yesterday and that did not help either. I will try the ALT solution and see if that works.

I believe...don't recall for sure, but I believe, I had this issue when I was using .66. You may try uprading to .77 and see if that resolves your problem.

    Blkdymnd -

i too had this issue b4 sw vr 4.5 . i had an issue w time wheels and delays within all apps as a whole really. Txt opening and sending was one of the larger issues in that regard. to correct it, or temp fix it, the thing that seemed to help the most was cleaning out unneeded gargabe from my memory and staying on top of deleting sms and emails as often as possible. that actually helped more than resetting the device. and i think we all can agree having to take the battery out and power cycling the Curve can be a major pain since it seems to take about 156781519029 minutes to complete.

    Hope this helps.
