    When I use the "Backup and Restore" function, where on my PC, is the data stored?

    Wherever you want it to be stored, as you are creating a .ipd file. You will have to choose a directory to save it in. Hope this helps.

    Desktop program will ask u where to put backups. I put a copy on my network drive and laptop!

    I believe it defaults to your "My documents" folder as a .ipd file unless you specify a different folder when you save the backup file.

    I save mine in a folder I created named "BlackBerry" in My Documents. You then specify where you
    want to save the file. It will automatically save to this file on all future backups unless you specify
    elsewhere.
