    Curve with 16 gigs

I got my 16 gig sd card from Amazon.com and put it in yesterday. With the new T-Mobile 4.5.81 firmware, this things rocks!

I had my moment of excitement when the metal SD card holder came off in my hand trying to put it in. Fortunately, it was easy enough to fix.

If you use your BB for mp3 or video, this is a must have. I already have all but 2 gigs filled on it now.

What I also like about this is if I switch phones, I can transfer the flash memory to the new phone.

I rock a 8gb in mine. About 4 gigs worth of music and a bunch of videos with about 1gb free.

That would be awesome if someone made an application for backing up the phonebook to the media card. Us CDMA guys would be in heaven and longer need SIM cards. LOL

As far as I know nobody has come up with a way to backup any OS related info to the media card. I'm pretty sure RIM has a tight lockdown on that due to what they call a potential security issue.

Still, awesome to hear with the newer OS that the 16GB card works. I use my curve (soon to be storm) for music, pics and video...this is great to hear.

Im also a big media person for my Curve, but I only have a 1 gig SD card. I think I'll be good with 4 gigs though.

8 GB MicroSDHC with 2.5 GB empty left on my 8120. May have to purchase that 16 GB card from Best Buy.
