Curve users: is the 8900 worth it?

I am looking at finally getting a new BlackBerry. I have an 8100 with TMO and lately I hate this phone. Its slow. No wifi. No 3G. The keys are incredibly small and close together. And (this happened with my last Pearl also!) it randomly crashes when I try to speed dial somebody.

So, I can get a "like new" 8900 off eBay for around $300 and have been considering it. There is no way I can last the rest of my tmo contract with this Pearl. Good for chicks with small fingers, but not dudes!!

    Thanks for any opinions...

The 8900 is an awesome device. If you like I'll sell you mine.

LOL my 8100 has been so slow, as much as I hate Apple and the iPhone I've been liking the look of it's browser and whatnot....but if the 8900 really is that good I will go with that. Do you have any pictures of it?

good to know...so far we're 3 for 3. I doubt I'll get a bad review but its just whether or not I want to pay an arm, a leg and a lung for it.

I love my 8900. You do know that it isn't 3G right?
It has wifi and GPS though.

If you can get it from Raton, then you should definitely go for it. I'll vouch for him. Maybe
