No clicking or free movement on mine, as firm as a hard piece of rubber. I love the way this BB is put together!

I just went back and had them swap it out and now it's good. The guy told me that it'll happen on this one too.... "That's just the quality of RIM phones" he said.

Are you referring to a clicking noise on the rubber piece itself?

I've noticed the silver face and black rubber piece are a little loose on that side of my Curve which makes a slight creaking... I'm a little afraid of taking the device apart to tighten it though.

Yes, it was the black rubber part on the right side that was loose and made a clicking noise when I pushed on it. Swapped it out and no problems with the new one. Maybe you should do the same.

I have the same problem. I already swapped mine out once for a screen issue, didn't feel like going back again. It definitely bothers me, but I think (for now) I can live with it.

Tell them you want a refund then you just rebuy it. You have 30 days for ANY reason.

My first curve had it too. My current curve doesn't have the click. Compared with HTC devices the blackberry are less in build quality.
BB should improve their build quality.
This month i hope to get my first curve back from the reboot issue. Hope they replace it with a new one.

    Re: Curve Side Rails

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ive noticed a build quality issue with the current phones. My ol' 7200 didn't give me one bit of trouble. So far I've had three 88's and my curve has a twitchy d key and creaky siderails. When they said they were moving to more of a "consumer market" they really meant they were going to start mass production, with lower quality standards.
