Had a 7200, then upgraded to a 8100 Pearl when they came out. Great phone, great size, HATED the keypad. I need a full QWERTY keyboard. Pearl's double tap didn't work well when I really got "in the zone" emailing. Smart spelling was a nightmare, spelling the wrong words if more than 1 was possible from the key combination I typed in. Don't even get me started on email addresses & URL's. I love BlackBerry, and my Curve 8310 is like a breath of fresh air!

Cingular 2135...While I miss being able to record videos, it was more important to have tethering capabilities plus the camera takes far better pictures. Don't know how I lived without a BB all these years!!

Had a razr v3xx that I thought was the best phone in the world (wrong). And a Treo 650(?). BB Curve is by far the best.

Htc wizard with wm6. There is a lot I miss about wm customization wise (no cam sound, certain notifications, vib and ring at the same time) but I like my bb way more than I liked the wizard.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ I finally gave up on my 8800. Went through a few issues during Curve setup, but AT&T's data support folks were great.

Really like the 8130's keyboard. Better spacing and firmer feel work better for my less than nimble fingers!

Only gripe so far is that startup and hard resets seem to take much longer (sometimes several minutes). However, soft resets and other, more frequent, functions (eg, use of the Symbol key) are MUCH faster.

    Call me "satisfied".
