I had a Motorola RAZR. Hated it. I went through five under warranty and they still wouldn't let me get a new phone. I'm glad I got my Blackberry!

Only had my 8100 for 2 mos before I switched to the Curve. I wanted Wifi. Got the Curve before the 8120 came out, but that's ok, I still like my Pearl and can switch between the two if I want too

I had a Samsung C417 (just a basic flip phone). My 18 month upgrade from AT&T came around and they had refurb 8310's for $50, so I decided now was the time to try something other than your basic cell. I am glad I did, too. I am hardly ever without my Berry now. In fact, since I got it, I've only parted with it for my wedding over the weekend.

I had a Motorola Q on Sprint. Only my second Moto on Sprint (1st was a StarTac) and both got miserable cell service. Every other phone I had with Sprint was fantastic. Now I'm loving my Curve on AT&T. Definitely get much better signal in buildings, elevator shafts, parking garages, etc. However, my Curve (8300) doesn't seem to hold a weak signal as well as my wife's Pearl (8100).

Sadly a treo 650. I found it to be a fantastic phone... in that time I tried replacing it with a sony k750i, htc s621, bb 7100g and a couple others but nothing came close to that fat brick I lugged around for ages. Lots of free apps and things like The Butler suite made it awesome to use.

Finally sticking with the curve for push email. It seems to be a little nicer, but there are still certain things I miss about the treo.
