I have had my Curve a little over a week now. I was so excited to get it I posted my 7130c for sale the night before the Curve arrived. Prior to the 7130 I used an 8700. That was my entry to BBland last year. I have also used a couple dozen other regular type phones on the weekends in the past year -- everything from a Nokia 6030 to the LG CU500 to the Nokia N73 ME. Prior to convergence I had a Palm Tungsten C.
Thanks to my 'Berry, I'm only an e-mail away.

Re: Curve owners... what was your previous Device?

I've actually made the leap from Palm (please don't boo and hiss at me!). I've been a loyal Palm user for 8 years... started with the original!

Recently I got a 7130e for work. Ended up really liking it. Then the curve came out. Oh yeah...

So today, it's a done deal. I bought a curve and got a pearl for my wife (another Palm user).

We'll see how the transition goes.

By the way, I know this is not the right thread, but I can't figure out how to start a new post (other than replying). Not too bright, I know. Can anyone enlighten me?

    Thanks.

I liked the pearl but when the curve dropped I had to have it. So far I love it but I'm still getting used to settings. I am also looking for a way to watch videos or tv without having to download through the media mngr. Any sug?

Re: Curve owners... what was your previous Device?

My last phone was a Samsung D807 then I got a used BB 8700 (a friend of mine gave it to me) and used that for about a week until I got a BB 8300 which I love. The BB 8700 did not do enough for a modern phone I though and it keep on trying to call random people in my phone book even when it was in the case.
