BOLD! 3G cause if T-Mobile gets it, I don't have to worry about EDGE. Until they get it...if ever, I will stick to my Curve.

None, get a Thunder but knowing RIM it probably won't be out til 2025. So I would say get the curve now or wait for the Bold which allegedly is due out in September.

How's it holding up to usage, kieranwest?

That BGR report was less than flattering with regard to the shell (easily scratchable plastic screen, cheap chrome-looking plastic).

Well I can't say much as its still under NDA but the report on BGR was pretty accurate physically. However he was way off on the OS bugs as he doesn't have a recent version.

I can never say for sure until I'm looking at it in my own hands but the specs for the Bold and the Thunder are impressive. However, the one thing I've learned from my experiences with RIM and its carriers is to to always assume much later rather than sooner so I'll stay focused on my Curve for now.

Im gonna keep my curve for a while, and check out what early adopters are saying about it. If all is well, I'll jump over. But if there are issues, I'm gonna wait until they get the kinks all worked out. I'm hoping if it releases in September that everything should be good by the holiday season. Will make an awesome Christmas gift for me!!!

bold as soon as it comes out
i can handle a few bugs, scratches and what not
just being able to be the first among my friends to have it makes me happy
and having it before everyone else gets it for "149.99 with a two year contract"* is what makes me happy lol

*=Prices are subject to change depending on location, age of user, and how big your bank account is. This is not a real deal offered by any carrier currently. This fine print was written to make you think there is fine print when there is even finer print with all the true terms and conditions of this contract. Thanks for letting us screw you over.

I too am going to wait until it is released and see what type of reviews it gets. My 8310 in the mean time is serving me just fine. Great battery life, web browsing with the beta OS, EDGE speeds here are fine.

I will stick with my Curve and depending on how the Alltel/Verizon deal goes get the Thunder or just keep the Curve. I think the curve is a great phone and don't think I would switch to the Bold because I think it is to big to not have a screen that different in terms of size than The curves.
