The audio quality for both music and phone calls is also better.

Sorry, I thought ths thread was about the release of the Curve on Cingular. I was just trying to say that it is a great phone and worth the wait. Sorry if you felt I quoted out of context.

What's up is that they haven't announced a release date. Any dates that bubble up until then are just speculation and rumor. I'm not sure why this is surprising to so many...

Currently everyone's holding their breath based on what their cousin's friend's dog's owner's buddy who is a janitor at at&t said. It shouldn't be surprising that these aren't the actual release dates. Once there's an official date it will definitely be posted everywhere. Until then you might as well make one up yourself.

I doubt at&t will do a quiet launch of a device with such demand. The page on their site is a good sign that the date is getting close though.

The curve is more a consumer play than enterprise. It's positioned right in between the Pearl and the 8800. Got mine a couple of days ago and its sweet.... The full QWERTY on the 8300 is much better than my 8800 due to the fact that there is spacing between each key. It's also about 50% lighter than the 8800. Another home run for RIM...

The fact that it doesn't have GPS out the gate has upset some customers - but it is a great device overall.

    Welcome to PinStack, attbb8300.

Given your user name, I assume you are on AT&T. Is that an AT&T curve or an unlocked one from another carrier?

Let us know if there is anything we can do to help with your BlackBerry.
