I like the size comparison here:

You get everything the 8800 offers and more in a smaller but easier to type package.

Hmm I thought we were discussing the 8300, not the 8830.

Well I don't use the camera in my pearl much, I do use the media some but I'm going for the new keyboard and the portrait layout. And I'll probably uptate for the 3g BB when it shows up.

Yes and in the review the writer compares the 8830, which I believe is the some size as the 8800, with the curve.

However the curve is not just like the 8800. The 8830 is similar to the 8800 but the curve lacks gps and has a camera.

But Hayden was only referring to the size comparison in that review.

Re: Curve now on Cingular's website ... but

I was at a Cingular corporate store yesterday and they told me they have no plans for the Curve to be released anytime soon. I had just read a post here on Pinstack that was to the contrary. Today I went to a different store and they told me they were on a conference call the other day and the Curve is coming out June 5th. When I pressed about possibly May 25th they looked at each other dumbfounded! What up with the comm at Cingy?!

All I can say is that having now used the Curve for 2 days, I am very happy indeed! Reading and composing emails is much easier with the larger screen and "normal" keyboard.

The media GUI is better and faster than the Pearl.

The audio quality for both music and phone calls is also better.

    I am a happy Crackberry!

Glad you're happy. I'm sure its a sweet device! However you pull a quote in your post from someone else talking about the lack of communication by ATT, then belt a few lines about your curve. Was their a point in quoting the previous poster? Lol

I went to the local Cingular store here, well I think they're a Cingular reseller because they never know anything...on that point, guess what? They were clueless that a new blackberry was even coming out for Cingular (or AT&T).
