cool nice to know
In the spirit of triing it out I tried holding the # key to see what happened...NOTHING, but then I kept holding it and pressed the enter key and 'Viola'. This seems to be the shortcut on my 8320 to get to the profiles.
The shortcuts are great! thanks for the info guys
My shortcuts just stop working...Does anyone know how to turn them on>>>i tried the phone home screen trick and that doesn't work...
does anyone know how to get the roller ball to change colors?
jereme111 you can't get your trackball to change colors...at least not with a program...the 8300 and 8800 series don't have different color LEDs just the white ones...only way to change your color is the disassemble the trackball assembly and either color the LED lens with your favorite colored sharpie (the more dots you put on it the darker it will become) or cover it with a colored plastic sticker like you use for tabbing books...hope this helps
Great Info! Not sure if this one was posted already but here's another one...
Press ALT L G L G... Which takes you to the Event Log screen. Then click on the menu button and press on CLEAR LOG, just like in the pearl.

Thanks Magellan and Brooke !!!
Alt + space works just like space in reverse (moves you back one complete page, found this useful when I accidently pressed space to many times, just saves me scrolling up).
Isn't there a way to jump from an application to another? I used to have a Sidekick III before getting my Curve just recently and i am definitely spoiled by Sidekick's capability of jumping from being in one application to another one directly and back. For example, if you were composing an e-mail, you could easily jump directly to address book and copy specific information and jump back to the unfinished e-mail you were composing and paste something in there. I'll be truly disappointed if Curve really doesn't have such thing like this.
Also, i find it very inconvenient of having to hit alt every time i want to key in a number for e-mail composing. Is there a way to type a number without having to use the alt key or a quicker way to do it? And, i seem to be unable to find a way to make my Curve stay awake beyond two minutes. Is 2 mins. the maximum length for it to stay awake?
