I have to ask. Are you sure about this "internal battery"? Never seen one or any reference to one before.....

Second that! I've worked on quite a few BB's in my time and have never seen or even heard of an internal battery.

I don't doubt you but is there any way you can show us pics? I've never really fully taken apart a Blackberry so I am now really curious because I've never seen that part ever mentioned by companies that sell Blackberry parts.

Actually not really. Because what would be the point of doing a battery pull when something glitched on your phone. The "internal" battery, if I may, would cause the phone to keep the memory of what was wrong. So in turn it would make it pointless to do a hard reset because you would have to actually take the regular battery out and the internal for it to actually erase the problem. But please someone tell me if i'm incorrect in my assumptions. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Alright...now I'm curious about this "internal"battery thing. I'm going to try and find it. If newer bberrys have it then mine should.

Do you have a pic of this? It would help. I'm assuming that you've taken apart newer bb's, but if i'm wrong what is your source of this knowledge? You've got techs that work on bb's that are confused.
