    Re: Curve Chinese Input

Chinese Input works really great on my Curve. I got one from HK CSL which comes with Chinese Input by default. So I can recommend the HK CSL BlackBerry OS

Post How to get BB Service in China

Sorry for the late reply but maybe this will help someone else out. When heading to China and having a BB one can buy a smartTone vodafone $HKD100 card. Assuming you own a BB that supports a Sim Card and that the phone itself is unlocked. Verizon was willing to unlock my phone as long as I answered the questions correctly...

VZ will ask if you are in the USA, just say yes. Then they will ask for an address to send the Sim Card to -give them a USA address. Lastly you will need to ask them to take you through the unlock procedure and give you the code so you do not have to call back. VZ will state that you need the card -you don't so be persistent and tell them you want to avoid a second call back.

If you do not get the answer you want do not hesistate -hang up and call them back until you get the response that you desire.

My experience along these lines were good. I was able to get phone service in China but not email forwarding.

    Hope this has been useful.
    Take care.

In addition, I am going to travel to China. Is there anybody who knows how to do the switch service in china?

Thank you for the link to the Chinese font/character zip file.

Unzipped, installed via DM and it works.

Anyone know where to get zip files for Japanese, Korean or Thai characters?
