    Its basically sprints version of tmobiles H@H (Hot spot at home)

    Check it out, might be available in your area.... but since the curve doesnt have wifi, guess we will just have to wait.

    So it needs wifi to run? That doesn't seem to make much sense to me considering the only wifi phones CDMA carriers have are Winmo based. And smartphones at that which covers an even small percentage of the people.

    Airrave doesn't use wifi. It is what is called Femtocell and what it does is like having a mini CDMA tower inside the house that converts the call to VOIP and back. I live in a test market for it and have one. It is a pretty neat device with some minor quirks.

    So in that market test, do you pay monthly or do you pay one time for the equipment? Does it have EVDO speeds?
