    Curve 8310 Unlocked says i dont have enough memory

    I lost my 8900 and had to settle for an unlocked 8310 (nothing Wrong) but i try to get some of my apps that i had on my 8900 to the 8310 some download but then i get a message saying device memory is none but i have a2gig sd card pls help

    Device memory is different than your SD card memory. Also the 8900 had more internal memory than the 8310.. You'll need to go to your applications and maybe delete some apps. Do you have a lot of themes on it? You might want to keep that down to a minimum as well. SD cards will store your pictures and music. I would make sure you are not trying to load them to device memory instead of your memory card.

    Yea the device memory is like RAM is to a computer, and the 8310 has MUCH less than the 8900, the 8310 I THINK has 96MBs while the 8900 has 256MBs. Storage memory, which is what the media card is is like the hard drive of a computer.

    Not even.....the 8310 has 64mb on board.

    Yeah, even though it's STILL not enough, I'm enjoying the 256 on my 9700!

    Ditto, Roger -- that 9700 is the BEST BB I've had (8100,8310 and 8900 before).

    LOL, it really was not all that long ago that I got my 8330 which does have the 96mb.....I remember being able to brag briefly about my BB having more memory than any of the other BB models.....that 512mb will be much better...1 gig would be sweet.
