    Curve 8310 max memory

I did a search but found nothing. I know that it is stated that the max memory for the SD card for the curve is 2GB, but I have heard people talking that made it sound like bigger ones will work as well.

Does anyone have any info or a link to show this? What is the max size that I can get? I can settle for 2, but I would like 4 and even better 8.

    Thanks stackers!

The size of the memory card is limited by what software/OS version is on your BB

    4.2.0 up to 2gig
    4.2.1 up to 4gig
    4.2.2 up to 4gig
    4.3 up to 8gig

This was taken directly from RIM's support site, linked here:

I had 2 gb card and then found out 4 was the biggest for my 8310 because of firm wear so I got one and its great. also do your self a big favor and pick up a copy of Miutunes for your phone if thats what your going to do with your card, use it for music.

Oh that Miutunes looks really nice. I am going to have to look into that. I was gonna pick up a 4GB card in the next day or so, but now I am hearing rumblings of att releasing the 4.5 firmware which would allow me to use an 8gb card. I dont know what to do now!
