Converting DivX Movies with Media Manager Works Well

Just a quick note to say that I am impressed with how well the media manager works in converting DivX movies to mp4. The pane system in the Roxio window makes a lot of sense with its Copy Up and Copy Down, and the Advanced Conversion Options works well.

I found that I can reduce a 349 meg DivX TV show down to 160 MB without any serious loss in quality, meaning I can fit almost an entire season on a 2 gig MicroSD card with room to spare.

I tried all three Video Profile options, and found that a 349 Megabyte DivX TV show converted down to the following file sizes:
    • Good Video Quality - 94 MB. (Looked pretty crappy)
    • Better Quality Video - 160 MB. (Decent, watchable)
    • Best Quality VIdeo - 344 MB. (Looks like the original)
I found that the Best quality video was not worth the huge file size, so here are my settings that seem optimal for good quality video and reasonable file sizes:
    • Video File type: mp4
    • Resizing: Simple Resize
    • Video Profile: Better Quality VIdeo
    • Audio Files: mp3, 44 KHz, 128 kbps, Stereo

Where do I get the program to do this, and then where do I get the videos to convert?
Color---it's nothing but a hue of the rainbow...why do people place such importance in it?

I would take a look at http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com...ngs_media.html and try it out.

I have tried the media manager these past couple of days and it's slow but useful. I sure would liek to abe able to enhance the audio on the videos I push over through this software. I was using a piece of software called BBVE-1.01 that worked well for me but didnt' do full screen.
