    Question Contacts Problem

Hi, I just bought an open line AT&T Curve. Pretty much great 'cept for some glitches here and there. But there's one that I realy can't get over with; incoming calls doesn't register name of caller eventhough caller is in my directory. And when I use that number to dial and return call, it doesn't register the name either. The name only registers if I go into my contacts directory and dial from there. Otherwise, I'd be guessing all my incoming callers and would have to return all missed calls to find out who called. Sheeesh... Can anyone help me please. Anybody here had the same problem? Please, please help.

By the way, I even installed the latest OS from Optus (hoping it would fix the bug), still have the same problem. =(

Hi Choi - resend your Service Books to your device and then do a battery pull to reset your Curve...
    See if that helps -

    It is not a bug!

You need to setup Smart Dialing.

Do a quick search in these forums for smart dialing and your problems will be over
