    Contacts Address book search malfunction

Hi - I have never had a problem like this before, in 8 months' happy usage of the 8300.

The search function in my contacts database is not working properly. It is ignoring entries when i know they are there.

Any obvious solutions to this ?

at address book, press menu, choose filter. See if none of the filters are on. If they are, remove them.

Hi Sci-Tek - I tried this, there were no filters on. Thanks for your help anyway. However, I have since cured the problem by simply switching off the B'by, removing both the battery and media card, replacing them immediately and switching it back on again. I have found this to be consistently the best remedy for all but totally insoluble problems. Talking of which....

I posted another question regarding jpeg.rem files being unusable in media manager (i.e. on a PC, I cant see or open photographs taken on my B'by). Not had any replies, so I guess no one knows how to fix this. I will post again.
