Yeah, you can use the wireless network to set up phone as a tethered modem to a lap top. You just need the following:

    1. Blackberry Internet service (some people don't subscribe)
    2. Set up the D.U.N on the lap top.
    3. Don't expect it to work while doing 70mph on the highway. You'll never get a connection speed that will stick.

    Have Fun!

I jsut talked to a rep about the same thing. A warning...if you do this it will use your minutes if you don't have the feature add. I think they quoted 13.00 or so for the cheapest of the options.

Now for the how to....I don't know. I'm sure someone more savy can chime in. There are threads on pinstack that cover it. It's labeled as "teathering". I will try to look up the link for you.

Make sure you have an unlimited data plan. Most TMob customers that I know who do own a BB already do. Thankfully TMob fully supports tethering on on the 8320 unlike most carriers that make u pay extra(AT&T)
