I have not found any thing that will get that, staining/discoloration from the ball itself I replaced the track ball assembly ( $9.00 ) and experimented with soaking the old dirty one in alcohol , hydrogen [FONT=&quot]peroxide, even had my wife bring it to work and put in the the ultra sonic cleaned they use to clean some surgical tools. nothing helped at all .. just go here http://cnn.cn/shop/blackberry-c-200.html and buy a couple of new ones.

    I purchased a new trackball from cnn.cn.

So now I have two, I clean one and use the other. When the installed one gets dirty I change it for the cleaned one. Lasts longer this way I believe, and you don't have to worry about not having a trackball in for a certain amount of time.

Sort of like having a "spare tire" for my Berry .
