are you taking about the charging pod?

as far as i know, you put the phone in the cradle and plug the thing into an outlet.

There should be a female outlet in the back of the pod, and you simply plug your charger that came with your phone into the pod.

Correct, you need to use the wall charger that came with your phone. I think the one you are trying to use is the USB cord that is plugged into the computer.

Wall wart charger, car charger, or PC USB cable. All can be plugged into it to provide charging power.

Doesnt work on older computer with 1.0 usb though

You can also use a wall plug to usb converter, basically just a little box that plugs in to the wall, and has a usb port (same as a car charger one with a usb port.

However i dont recommend putting this craddle on your motorcycle and using sticky velcro on the bottom, and placing your bb in it.

WHY ? well in the sun the sticky melts, and when you go off a jump or pop a wheelie, the bb flys out, seriously

I was using my NEW charging cradle from BB.
After I put the "full body" InvisiShield on my Storm, it's too tight of fit, and won't slide in.

I use wall charger for batteries. I ordered multiple DX-1 batteries and interchange them so I never have to hook it up.

    Smile SO MANY WAYS....

I got a great little box that carries 4 AAA cells and has a USB output. It will charge your BB and anything (Bluetooth headset?) that charges off a USB port.
Also a geberic travel adapter, same thing, USB output. VERY cheap.
Nice thing is the BB has a voltage regulator INSIDE, so don`t worry.
And I live way out in Venezuela, guys....!
