    Someone correct me if I am wrong... I dont think you can make a cdma work on a gsm network and vice versa. Wait for the Verizon Pearl. You wont be disappointed. The Verizon 88xx is cameraless I believe.

    Or you can do as I did and kick that nickel and diming network to the curb and switch to AT&T or T-mo.

    CDMA=sprint,verizon
    GSM=at&t,Tmo

    different networks don't play nice together. Phxblue is correct.

    True but this IS Verizon we are talking about. When it comes to them beggers can't be choosers.

    I'm not bashing Verizon as I used to use them. However they have very little to offer in today's rapidly evolving wireless world. I say get out & go with AT&T. It's certainly the best move I've made. Now I get all the good phones, excellent coverage, and I could not be happier.

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~the speeds on the EVDO are awesome, and that's really the only plus side to CDMA other then that, get off the WW2 technology and do as the europeans do... Get GSM.

    i work for verizon and thus get phones and plans at a discounted rate. i love the network and am aware that cdma doesnt comingle with gsm, i just wish verizon would be quicker on the phone uptake.
