I accidently deleted Bberry Maps from my ATT 8900. When trying to reinstall, I get the error message that Maps is incompatible with my device? Anyone seen this before and, better yet, have a fix?? Much appreciated....

Two things you can try. One go to blackberry.com/messenger from your device or connect to desktop manager and reinstall it through there.

Thanks moderncowboy. But I believe that only installs Messenger. I am in need of Maps.

Sorry I misread. To do maps you will need to use desktop manager.

When you are in DM goto Add/Remove applications or Application loader. From there you will see a list of applications. If you don't have maps installed then there will not be a check beside it. Simply put a check mark beside it and hit next. Let it finish installing it and when it says its done unplug your phone and you should be good to go after that.
