    Can't Download Google Maps...HELP

I have a Telus Curve 8330 that the BB Maps and GPS works flawlessly on, but I like Google Maps from my experience with it on another Smart Phone. Everytime I try to download it though I am given a message that basically states I am not allowed...

Has anyone else had this problem? How did you get around it?

Well google maps uses alot more data, but its independed of RIM so I dont think it could be your phone company that is not allowing it, what link are you using?

    http://www.google.com/mobile/blackberry/ or http://m.google.com

Have you installed any other programs that use your GPS? Such as Amaze

Have you tried downloading the mobile google tool and then use it to install google maps? http://www.google.com/mobile/blackberry/app/

Sorry I cant access the Google mobile Help support user forums here at work, but you might try there.
It takes many professionals versed in many different area's to help the masses, I am just a single drop in that pool.

Maybe a BB browser configuration problem.

    Try this:

    1. Open BB browser
    2. Option
    3. Browser configuration
    4. Emulation mode
    5. Change to 'Blackberry'

If Emulation mode is not set to 'Blackberry' Google doesn't reconize your Blackberry.

    Bye Claudio
