    calendar times changing

    hi all,
    i have a curve 8310.
i have noticed that my appoitment times in my calendar keep changing 3 hours earlier than i set them to.

for example if i set an appoitment from 10-12 it will change a few hours later to 7-10

this is becoming annoying as my reminders are going off 3 hours earlier than they should

anyone no what the problem is?

im in Ontario canada and i have the network set on easter time

Are you on BES or do you sync your calendar to your computer?

This might not be the case but when u set ur appointment, did u set the correct time zone, which is the same time zone in ur BB options setting?

    ya that is all correct.

im pretty sure it has something to do with some settings in outlook. i am using my brothers computer right now when i hook up to desktop manager and the times seem to be changing after i connect.
where in desktop manager or outlook do i set the correct time?

Check the time on your brother's PC. Could be that's not set properly as the times Outlook uses for e-mails, calendar, etc are based on the system time.

In the lower righthand corner of the PC you'll see the system time. If it isn't correct, put the mouse over that, right click on it and select Adjust Date/Time. You can change the time to whatever it should be. Check the time zone, whether or not it is automatically set to adjust to daylight savings time and finally whether or not it is syncing with an internet-based time server.

Let us know if you need further instructions.

While on your brother PC get into his outlook and at the top click tools and then scroll to options. Now a window will pop up and click the calendar options. There at the bottom right there should be a button to click called time zone please check there and see if its right.
