Got rid of my trusty little pearl and got a curve today It is so awesome!! Just wanted to share I am so stoked. I know most of the keypad short cuts on the pearl so if anyone wants to help and share some tips and tricks on the curve I am all for it.

gixxer -- turn off "dial from homescreen" in the call log options ... then you will be able to use one key shortcuts (M for messages, A for Address Book, L for Calendar, etc. -- you will be able to see what shortcuts are what by looking at the icon screen and when you scroll to the default app, the shortcut "letter" will be underlined )

Do you miss suretype? I did for the first week, took time to get used to the full qwerty.......now my son uses my 8130 and I hate when I have to use it for anything.....

When i upgraded to my curve, i was happy to get rid of suretype. I didnt hate it, but i look at the keys when i type, and i would have to scroll through when im done if suretype didnt input what i intended.

I too fel head over heals for my new Curve a few minths ago. I had grown very used to Suretype but at the same time I was happy to get rid of it. I couldn't stand having it spell words wrong as if I was still using my old samsung flip phone.

It took a little while to get used to the QWERTY keyboard but now I'm typing faster then I ever was with my pearl!

Hope you continue to love the phone.

I have to say after using the curve for the last few days I am really loving this device. My pearl was a great lil blackberry, but the curve! Wow! It is truly a great phone. It just does everything a blackberry should do, better!

I am so jealous. I agree should have started with the curve. But got sucked into the cute factor. Well live and learn.

Typing is great but I am loving all the keypad shortcuts too. And the larger screen, and more memory, and more themes to choose from, and more applications and on and on. Lol too much to list in approvements.
