    Just tried to upgrade to .42 on my 8310. Got the JVM error 513. Can someone give me a link to the instructions on how to restore from this point? DM is not recognizing after closing/opening, battery pull, etc. I have a clean full back up to rstore from. Thanks

    I would use jl_cmder and wipe it and then restore from that point. Check lavagirls blog there should be instructions for that there.

    Thanks. Went to the blog. Instructions assume your BB can connect to DM. Mine will not. Any other ideas?

    Take the battery out, will it connect then?

    Sorry I'm mobile or else I could be more useful. If that doesn't help, look for Rcbjr's signature and it should have links to getting your BB up and running.

    it wont say that its connected, you have to start the DM and go to the app loader....go through the screens and the OS should just start to load..after 2 or 3 bars, throw the battery in and cross your fingers...hope this helps..

    i agree ^^ ...try double clicking application loader and see if it recognizes and asks you to select your pin

    In my blog there is a link to a thread on installing your OS when Destkop Manager does not recognize your device. Give that a try, and be patient - it may take more than one run at it!
