    Bluetooth On/off Short Cut Missing!

On the PEARL once you had asigned a piece of bluetooth equipment it put an on/off shortcut onto the menu screen. But on my CURVE it does not do this so I have to keep going through the set up menu to access the on/off...any one else found this....is there another way?
    THANKS GUYS!!

Same thing here on my 8830. Must be 4.2.2. I had the same option you're refering to on my 7130e.

You should check and make sure it isn't a hidden icon, press the menu (bb button) to bring up the menu on the home screen, and check off show all.. then find the icon, highlight it.. press the bb button again and uncheck hide icon

Curve has instead a new "Manage Connections" icon that when selected brings up a menu with the following options:

    Turn all Connections Off

    [X] Mobile Network
    [X] Bluetooth

    Services Status
    Set Up Bluetooth

    Mobile Network Options
    Bluetooth Options

THANKS. I would never have found that on my own. That's much faster than the other methods others have offered up.

Has anyone found a way to on/off BT on the curve without brining up this "manage connections" icon?

You can assign a convience key to it. Other than that you're S0L.

hpoe can I do a direct shortcut? I can only assign a convenience key for the"manage connections" menu. There I must de-/ activate bluetooth - thats one step too much for me... is there a way to de-/ activate by convience key directly?

Will this be on later Pearls? I would love to be able to use that feature (like the Curves and 8800's). Looks easier than turning the network off completely.
