    BlackBerry Curve OR T-Mobile Wing?

Hello there. Well I'm planning to get a new phone in a month or two, and im REALLY REALLY having a hard time deciding what phone to get. So as u can tell by the title of this thread, I'm a T-mobile user. I want a phone with a full qwerty keyboard, and ive narrowed my decision to the tmobile wing and the blackberry curve. They both seem great, but im realy liking the slide out keyboard of the tmobile wing. Also, I'm not going to buy data for any of these devices, so taking that into consideration, what do you guys think i should get? Please give reasons THANX

I personally say the curve. Its a great phone (I own one of course). I have a friend that I know that had the wing and got rid of it within two weeks. He said it was unreliable and was slow loading alot of apps.
I tried alot of phone and nothing is quite like the BB.
    Hope this helps.

The Wing is a solid phone, but I am not a fan of Windows Mobile.

    Curve.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ this is my 1st BlkBry and I've had a WM03 nextel i930. If u aren't getting data, get windows bcuz u can get apps for windows easier than blackberry. With the berry programs r usually registered by ur blkbry pin. Windows u can find keygens and all that. Google WM05, bcuz I believe that's the OS for the wing, and see how many apps you get to download. For u, I'd def say wing

Basically the Wing is a MDA with Windows Mobile 6. If tou have messed with the MDA any, it was slow and froze alot. They put the same processor in the Wing that was in the MDA. I used to have the MDA and like the Curve a whole lot better then it.

Speaking from both personal and professional experience.. The curve. The wing is wm, however it has the same speed processor that was in the mda and other pda phones. The curve is faster, more reliable esp with memory usage. Its uma compatible and the wing is not. Of course it all depends on your needs, but cmon, carry a brick (wing) or a curve... Huge difference. Go curve, you won't regret it

There is nothing better than the curve. Nothing better than blackberry actually. Don't waste your money or time on anything else. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

yes they are right. but @ the same time, with WM u can run app off of your SD card so why is RAM an issue? if anything, a BB you can't run apps from a SD they are are internal finite memory. with a SD card you can run plenty of things from your wing and still have space on your bb. bb is great, but i had many many many features with just my i930 + boost mobile sim. i could email, text, web, mms, IR beam, themes, photo contacts pro (allows to block, mute etc phone calls and that was unknown #s, private or known) make a list of things ud like to do with your phone and then go from there.

If you are getting a phone from t-mobile and you aren't getting the data, don't expect to get your rebate. It is a newly implemented requirement of t-mobile data devices. (need to have at least the 9.99 windows mobile email)

you gotta take what is good for your needs into mind. Windows mobile is great for people that have to use powerpoint, ms mobile word etc. Those apps can link with apps on your pc for use so its good.

I started my bberry time with a pearl in jan of 07. I didn't really want to go "up" to the curve but I am glad I did.

Another aspect that you're not considering in this decision: The Wing is quite possible the lamest looking smartphone currently on the market. It looks like a Fisher Price My First Grown Up Phone. **** that.
