Hi, I am hoping someone will be able to assist me in finding a solution ... BlackBerry Curve forum
BlackBerry Connect Service
Hi, I am hoping someone will be able to assist me in finding a solution to my Problem.
i recently bought a BB 8320 from ebay which i was able to repair and is using currently. my only problem is that the previous owner used the BlackBerry Connect Service with their provider T-mobile. Now that i want to use this service with my provider Digicel i am told that the emailing service will not function because the IMEI no. has not been released by T-mobile. everything else works fine on the phone.
Therefore i am asking if there is any T-mobile professionals or anyone who has encountered this problem before please advise me on how i can best resolve the problem. Because right now i am recieving the previous owner's emails on my BB 8320.
my email address is rquinlan (at) hotmail (dot) com

Call t-mobile and ask them to release the IMEI for your device. just to help stop spam edit your post and either remove your email or do this rquinlan (at) hotmail (dot) com

If you are going to take the time to respond... take the time to actually understand that to which you are responding.
Or you may need the previous owner to call TMO and let them know the device was sold. If TMO won't release the IMEI it means prior owner maye have bailed on contract and hasn't paid ETF, or has some other sort of outstanding balance. Hope not for your sake.

Thanks for all your help but i spoke to T-Mobile and they are saying that only the original owner can request any change on the account. i have tried calling , left voice mail and sent emails but no response from the original owner.
can any technical person from t-mobile contact me via email to have this done. i have the original box with the kit sku, sim serial #, handset serial #. in order to get this done. i really dont have any other option left.
