the keyboard is really easy to use. I like that there is a lot more memory built in for additional apps and stuff compared to the pearl. I haven't used the video recorder yet because it requires a Media Card but the camera quality is pretty good. Most of the operating system is similar to the other berries with a couple of little things that just make it a little bit easier and a little more convenient. You will love the upgrade from the 8830. The size will make you really happy and since it seems like you are into the multi media then the camera bits you will really enjoy.

I've got the Bell 8330 and it too is running OS 4.3.0.124. I love the fact that I'm now able to send MMS' and the voice recording is really neat. The keyboard is a lot easier to use compared to the 8830 and of course the Camera and multimedia on it is excellent.

the place to find "send MMS" is from the messages section:
push the menu button once you are in the messages and the menu that will pop up will have say: compose email, compose pin, place a call, compose SMS, blackberry messanger. It is in this sub menu that if the phone is enabled to send MMS it will read "compose MMS"

can you confirm that this is in your menu!?

    thanks

Nope, not there. Mind you, I'm on the $15 unlimited E-mail and BB messenger only. So I don't know if others with the data plan have this or it's missing for me because my browser service books are missing.

If the compose MMS menu option does not exsist in that menu then the phone is not MMS capable. @ this point it appears that none of the CDMA carriers are not offering the MMS option. There was talk that the sprint 8330 will have this available come the summer. This is still speculation especially since they have yet to release the curve. Well that MMS was certainly some confusion.

I have had mine for a day or so and typing is so much better. I was quicker on my pearl but the suretype drove me nuts.

Off topic: Does anyone know how to go forward in the browser?
