I just liked having an icon on my screen that i could just click and tada there's my weather and forecast.

i'm just being lazy i know. clicking the browser then clicking the link to the weather service yada yada yada.

I don't want to pay $12 for weatherbug either!

Yah, it works just fine on mine. Make sure you have the newest version of BBWeather though. I know a while back the program had issues and they came out with a new working version.

Yahoo weather although last summer they predicted rain for my entire 8 days in the Dominican Republic. Matter of fact, there was rain every day for the entire two weeks before I left, as well. When we got there, it did not rain one drop the entire time and the staff said it hadn't for close to a month.

what i was referring to is a free app that puts an icon on your screen that gives you all the info up to date WITH NO CLICKS INVOLVED lol. Trust me im lazier than you when it comes to the weather i like to have it right THERE.

    Mine works fine...

When you click on BBWeather for the first time or right after it downloads it gives you an error. This is normal. Click ok to clear the error and click on the trackball and go to options. You will then come to a menu in which you will have to input information.

That information would be your weather ID for the city you live in, in the address bar when you go to http://www.weather.com/

For example, this is what you would input for San Diego....

At the top you will input the weather code "USCA0982" (again, you will find this in the address bar) and on the next line for description you would input your city.

Don't forget to check "Disable MDS Proxy" and you're in business!! Let me know how it works out for you.

WeatherEye stopped updating weekly forecasts which meant that if I wanted to check anything beyond 24 hours, I couldn't. Then I noticed that WeatherBug is free on App World so I downloaded it and could not be happier

ok, i got the push service Ranx spoke of, & i also have bbweather...personally i like bbweather best, but i haven't figured out how to delete the push service..

i tried deleting from browser option/cache operations (no luck), tried highlighting the icon/menu button/delete channel (comes back), i think i even tried to delete it by going to mobile.blackberry....

how do i get this gone??
