    bbm help please!

My girl dwnlded the new bbm 5.0 OTA from the ieexplorers website.

This website worked flawless for my bold ota upgrade of bbm, but on hers, she's lost bbm completely and can't find anywhere.

I sent a bbm to her and her LED indicates she has a message, but there is no bbm.

Tried showing all icons, tried finding message in messages folder, searched everywhere for bbm and nothing.

    Any thoughts or solutions????

What OS version is on her 8900? You may need to try another BBM 5 version from the iexplorers site

Well I am using BBM 5.0 with 4.6.1.199 and I never have had any issues at all. Btw hope it is not hidden; did you try clicking show all option? Do a battery pullout and then try show all option.

You might of dl-ed the wrong version, my buddy did that on his sisters 8900 make sure you dl the javeline version. My website I used said javeline and curve almost downloaded the wrong one myself. Pin/bbm me if you want the download link for the javelin version.

Go to Options > Advanced Options > Applications. Is BBM still listed in the list of installed applications. If so, delete it either by scrolling down to it, pressing the menu key, and going to delete, or through Desktop Manager. Make sure the version of BBM you downloaded was for the 8900 AND for the 4.6 OS and reinstall.
