BB Curve 8300 installing ringtones from email

I purchased Ringtone Maker 3 software from Magix. It works great to create and edit the ringtone.

I created the ringtones as MP3 files

Installation choice is to email to the BB device.

I did, but am not sure how to install the file from there.

What are other options of transferring the newly created ringtones from my PC to the BB device?

Was MP3 the correct format for the BB device?

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~mp3 works for me. The easiest way for me to transfer ringtones is to connect to the desktop manager, then select media manager. This will allow you to transfer pics, music, and ringtones to and from the bb. If you don't have a memory card, you might want to look into getting one. The ringtones will eat up memory. Welcome to the Stacks.

In the email select "Open Attachment" Let it open in Media Player. Then use the menu key and select Save and select where you want it saved.

Thank you for the information on using desktop manager. That worked. All my ringtones are now on the BB and accessible.

Also thank you on the suggestion to get the additional memory card.
