    automatically deleting old messages and phonecalls??

    hi i'm new to the forum, the reason i came on here is because my blackberry curve all of a sudden has started deleting my call lists and messages automatically after a minute or so........... it started earlier on today. i can make calls and send txts but can't see my txts. i receive them but by the time i open the folder there gone??

    please can some one help me??

    Check your memory (Options, Status, File Free =?) Low memory is a common cause...

    it says i have 1224207 bytes free file
    52953088 bytes file total

    i'm totally useless with computer a phone stuff so i dunno if thats gd or bad?

    Not critical but getting low...Lets do this (easy stuff):

    1. From the home screen type ALT LGLG. Then hit Menu and clear log.
    2. Open your Browser and hit Menu, Options, Cache Operations, and clear your content cache.
    3. Now power cycle your phone (pull the battery out for about 30 secs after you power down)

    Now see if the problem persists....

    i cleared it couldn't find the cache thing took the battery out and it seems to be working again!!! thanks a bunch!!! xxx

    it may have cleared the problem but i would look at that thread that GaryF posted,,,,ever since i read it, im a different BB user lol (not really but i take care of the memory a lot better now)
