Automatic entry of of Voice Mail password: Can this be disarmed?

Is there a way to disarm the automatic passcode to my voice mail? I have a new 8310 Curve, and had several other voice mail problems over the weekend [described in previous posts]

I can now reach the voicemail and it acts like it doesn't need a password and starts right in saying how many messages I have. Its fine with me to NOT have it password protected. Or I can enter it manually.

But then immediately I hear the beeping of a password being automatically entered and this seems to disrupt the process. Then I hear the first message playing, but the first several seconds are missing and it has lots of static.

Thanks for all thoughts and suggestions. Robt

Just take the pass word out. Press ypur green call button> menu> options> voicemail> and delete the password. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
