I use Telenav and it seems to be a good solution if you dont have a gps unit in your vehicle. I also use Google Maps as a backup. Haven't tried any of the third party applications but the good thing of the internal gps is it's not locked down to Telenav so you have the freedom not to worry about additional monthly costs.
Besides the $9.99 unlimited plan we now have a $19.99 international Telenav package great if you are traveling for a vacation and need to know your way around.

I"m having a bit of a difficult time too with the GPS. Under options, it's always giving a 0.0 for coords...refreshing it does the same. I'm trying out nav4all, and when I go to "Where am I?" it just gets stuck without finding any coords.
...but, I use google maps, and works fine.
Using a curve 8310 with ATT.. OS4.5.
Nav4all doesn't seem to be finding my GPS when I do a search for devices.
Weird huh? ANy ideas. I don't have the telenav plan with ATT

I did...gave up on it last night, and worked with it again this morning, and it actually just came up fine. I just turned on the data plan yesterday, so I'm sure I was just jumping the gun or something.

Is there any way to get absolutely free GPS? I currently don't have a data plan and will be getting my AT&T Curve Unlocked to use with Rogers. Phone is GPS enabled shouldn't it work like a GPS without using streaming data?
